salon.com reports today that the website of a New Jersey gubernatorial candidate published a photograph of himself surrounded by ebullient college students - except that the students were actually at a Howard Dean rally.

This follows a recent report in the LA Times of a television commercial ran by the 2004 Bush campaign which, lacking for sufficient numbers of cheering troops, pasted the same three soldiers several times over in the same image.
